“In 1981, a couple of guys from Vancouver, BC, modified two old Nishiki's with wider tyres, straight bars, and thumb shifters and went riding in the North Shore mountains. It marked the beginning of Rocky Mountain bicycles, and the birth of the principles that we still work by today: adhere to innovation, quality and attention to detail, to build better bikes that riders love to ride.
When the first Blizzard went into production three years later in 1984, it was born from that desire to build a better bike.”
